Breakfast for Dinner


I don't know about you, but I love breakfast for dinner. Friday we had egg scrambles with biscuits. I used frozen biscuits, which were surprisingly good. You can put whatever you want in your scrambled eggs. I put diced bell pepper, olives, broccoli, bacon, salsa and cheese. I aslo put a tablespoon or so of milk to make the eggs fluffier. You'll want to cook the bacon before hand and add the bell pepper and broccoli before the eggs so they have time to cook properly.

  1. do you have kids? I wonder how you get your kids to eat eggs with other ingredients, i love adding more to my eggs, but my kids REALLY prefer them plain.. But I guess I could cook the eggs, take out theirs then add the "stuff" for me and my husand. Your blog is quite inspiring! I have had quite a bland menu plan (and blame it on a budget) but so far your meals don't appear that much more expensive!

  2. I have young children, who are actually quite picky. This is one recipe where they will eat it mixed and I try to only add stuff to the eggs that they already like. I do separate a lot of my recipes though, and put aside the plain version before I add all the yummy stuff for my husband and I.
